Enercluster adheres to the ‘Manifesto for the sustainable and inclusive development of wind power in Spain’.
Enercluster and the other 39 entities that are part of the collaborative movement “Winds of the future” have signed the manifesto that claims the importance of wind energy and the need to promote its development through listening, dialogue, reflection and dissemination, together to all the actors involved in the debate.
The promoters of the manifesto recall that the National Energy and Climate Plan sets the year 2030 as the date to double the installed wind power. The signatories consider this 2023 as a historic opportunity to give the definitive boost in Spain to a fair and sustainable energy transition towards a decarbonized economy.
The ‘Manifesto for the sustainable and inclusive development of wind power in Spain’, which was presented on February 7 to Sara Aagesen, Secretary of State for Energy, includes 10 positive approaches for the implementation of wind farms; approaches related to the generation of employment, coexistence with other uses and activities such as agriculture, or the tractor effect for the development of the areas in which they are located.
