Nordex Electrolyzers

Nordex Electrolyzers is a joint venture between the Nordex Group and Sodena, located in Navarra, Spain, to design, manufacture, assembly, operate and maintain, and market pressurized alkaline electrolyzes in order to produce green hydrogen. Our goal is to unlock the potential of remote sites with exceptional renewable energy capacity factors to produce green hydrogen, a sustainable energy vector obtained from the electrolysis of water, using renewable energy, like wind. After production, green hydrogen can be stored and transported to be used to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors, such as aviation, maritime or steel industries, driving the green energy transition forward.

Nordex Electrolyzers combines the deep knowledge of our electrochemistry experts with the industrial power of the Group Nordex, one of the world’s largest wind turbine manufacturers with over 35 years experience.
