The President of the Government of Navarra has demanded that the contributions made by Enercluster to the ‘Wind Power Action Plan’, the European Commission’s commitment to wind energy and its value chain as essential vectors for the energy transition and for the industrial and technological autonomy of Europe, be taken into account. Navarre’s contribution to this European plan has been made through the Wind Energy Business Association and the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge.
Chivite and Minister Hereu have opted to join forces in defining a new legal framework to consolidate the transformation in which the industrial sector is already immersed, through the coordinated promotion of a State Industry Law, the draft of which is already being processed, and a future Regional Industry Law for Navarre, the draft of which is expected to be presented in September.
The shared objective of both laws is to establish the new legal bases to promote digitalization, the ecological transition and energy efficiency in the industrial sector, with special attention to the new productive sectors and the training needs that are being generated. Both administrations agree on the need to carry out a strategic and coordinated public action to increase the weight and productivity of industry, a sector that is considered strategic to boost economic activity and provide higher quality employment.
