AGP Navarra is committed to developing integrated projects in the territory, employing a strategy based on direct dialogue with local (town councils, associations, companies) and regional (Industry, Environment, Territorial Planning) actors. We work in collaboration agreements with all the municipalities involved (>30). Although this strategy may extend the development period, we assume this cost as essential to the way we operate. The local councils, for their part, request the development on communal land, which we are addressing in the majority of projects (approximately 70%). Our approach includes working with local councils to choose locations with project sites that have the least impact on the population and the landscape. In addition, we develop compensatory measures included in the EIAs, adapted to municipal needs. We are designing a plan in collaboration with local councils and other entities to promote the creation of Local Communities or to collaborate with existing ones. Part of the energy generated in our wind farms will be destined to PPAs that cover, at a discounted price, part of the energy consumption of these communities.
