Acciona Energía is a global operator in renewable energies with 30 years of experience in the sector and close to 11,000 MW of own capacity. It operates 230 wind farms (8,460 MW), photovoltaic plants totalling 1,236 MWp, 76 hydroelectric plants (873 MW), three biomass plants (61 MW) and one solar thermal plant (64 MW).

The company is present throughout the entire value chain, from the development of facilities to the commercialisation of energy. It produces electricity from 100% renewable sources equivalent to the consumption of 7.5 million homes in 16 countries, avoiding the emission into the atmosphere of some 13 million tonnes of CO2 per year. It belongs to the ACCIONA group, a leader in sustainable infrastructure solutions and renewable energy projects worldwide. ACCIONA’s sales reached 6,742 million euros in 2020. As an independent power producer (IPP), it develops, builds, operates, maintains and manages the energy of its own projects or in different partnership formulas with other companies.

As a renewable energy supplier, Acciona Energía provides solutions adapted to the needs of all types of corporate clients who wish to reduce their carbon footprint through a 100% clean, reliable and efficient energy supply, either through PPA contracts or other contractual modalities, depending on each regulatory framework and the profile of each client.

With more than 500 corporate clients, Acciona Energía has extensive experience in supplying energy to companies in a wide range of sectors. In particular, it has signed PPAs with leading clients in their respective fields, such as Amazon, Google, Novartis, Telefónica, Latam Airlines and Chile’s National Mining Company, among others.
