Francisco Ceberio Maiza, General Manager of our member Frenos Iruña, has won the Executive of the Year Award in Navarra, organised by Diario de Navarra–DN Management and the Association for the Progress of Management (APD). The award, now in its sixth edition, will be presented on 2 October.
An economist specialising in turning companies around, Ceberio joined Frenos Iruña in 1986 to secure the company’s future and has served as General Manager since 1993. Founded in 1955 and converted into an employee-owned company (Sociedad Anónima Laboral) in 1980, the firm today employs 150 people and posts a turnover of more than 20 million euros.
Frenos Iruña manufactures braking system components for off-road vehicles and the wind energy sector, with plants in Barbatain, Lérida and India and a presence in the United States. Its activity places it within the value chain of Navarra’s renewable energy industry.
