NAITEC and Acciona, both members of Enercluster, have developed a solution to inspect wind turbine blades using drones without having to stop energy production. The system optimises the maintenance of wind farms and reduces downtime and the associated costs.
The project was presented as a successful innovation-transfer case during the event on the impact of the Navarre R&D&I System, held this week in Pamplona.
