This Thursday, October 9, KoalaLifter held the laying of the first stone at the site of its new facilities in the Egüés Industrial Park. This symbolic event marks the beginning of construction on its technology development center, which is expected to open in the summer of 2026.
The new center will feature an area known as the testing field, where the company’s current towers are installed to carry out trials and demonstrations of its climbing cranes. It will also include a component assembly hall and an office building.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Government of Navarra and local authorities, including Mikel Irujo (Minister of Industry, Ecological and Digital Business Transition of the Government of Navarra) and Xuriñe Peñas (Mayor of the Egüés Valley). Also present were KoalaLifter’s partners, representatives from companies collaborating on the new center’s construction—such as Iñigo Eugui, General Manager of Erro y Eugui—as well as employees and collaborators.The event concluded with a blessing by Don Francisco Martín de Vidales, parish priest of the Egüés Valley.
