Our associated company Ingeteam has completed the construction of its new R&D building in Sarriguren, a 12,000-square-metre facility that reinforces its commitment to technological innovation in the field of renewable energy and electrification.
The offices, with capacity for around 200 professionals, are already operational, while the power electronics and control laboratory will be progressively equipped over the coming months. The total investment in the project amounts to €25 million.
The new facilities will enable testing and validation in strategic areas such as wind and solar energy, battery energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging and green hydrogen, consolidating the company’s role as a technology benchmark in these sectors. In addition, the laboratory has been designed as a global infrastructure, open to other industrial developments within the group.
The building also incorporates sustainability and energy efficiency criteria, including 46 electric vehicle charging points and a 150 kW photovoltaic self-consumption system that makes use of the building’s rooftop and the complex’s canopies.
