The cluster took part in a Navarrese delegation that travelled to the German capital to gain first-hand insight into the company’s developments in key areas of the energy transition.
This week, Enercluster visited Siemens Energy’s headquarters in Berlin as part of a Navarrese delegation led by the Regional Minister for Industry and Ecological and Digital Business Transition of the Government of Navarra, Mikel Irujo. The aim was to explore collaboration opportunities beyond the wind energy sector, where a strong relationship already exists, and to open up new business avenues for the cluster’s member companies.
During the visit, the delegation toured Siemens Energy’s gas turbine plant and its electrolyser manufacturing facilities. They also held several meetings addressing areas such as power grids, energy storage, green hydrogen and innovation, among others. The focus was clear: to identify market niches and specific opportunities where Navarrese companies can contribute their technological and industrial capabilities.
Kerman Gabiola, CEO of Siemens Energy in Spain, highlighted Navarra’s outstanding technological and industrial capabilities and underlined the goal of strengthening collaboration with the group’s different business units, particularly those with the greatest growth and innovation potential.
For Enercluster, this visit reinforces one of its key priorities: connecting its member companies with leading global players in the energy sector, creating real business opportunities and strengthening Navarra’s positioning in strategic markets.
We are proud to count a leading international company such as Siemens Energy among our members, and we thank their team for the warm welcome and the value-driven exchange aimed at supporting our business ecosystem.
