Nabrawind Technologies, an ENERCLUSTER member company, has been fully acquired by Fortescue, the Australia-based multinational specialized in mining and clean energy. The transaction consolidates the collaboration initiated in 2023 and will drive the global expansion of Nabrawind’s high-height wind towers, accelerating Fortescue’s energy and industrial transition toward its “Real Zero” goal.
The integration strengthens Nabrawind’s role within Fortescue’s international strategy to decarbonize industry and build a competitive, continuous and zero-emissions energy system. Specifically, the Navarre-based company will contribute its patented self-erecting Nabralift tower technology, a key solution for installing wind turbines at greater hub heights and significantly improving the efficiency of large-scale wind farms.
The acquisition brings Nabrawind into Fortescue’s global network, facilitating the industrialization and worldwide deployment of sustainable energy solutions.
The deal coincides with Nabrawind’s tenth anniversary, marking its evolution over the past decade from an R&D start-up to an international benchmark in wind innovation.
