Aitor Erquicia, Director General de EOSOL, asume la presidencia sustituyendo a Ana Goyen en un momento clave para el sector.

Aitor Erquicia, Managing Director of EOSOL, takes over as President, replacing Ana Goyen at a key moment for the sector.

The cluster has been strengthened in 2024 with a 20% growth in the number of associated companies.

The ENERCLUSTER Annual Assembly held this Friday marked the beginning of a new era with the renewal of its Board of Directors and the election of Aitor Erquicia , Managing Director of EOSOL, as the new president. Erquicia takes over from Ana Goyen, director of INGETEAM, who has led the association for the last two years in a context of profound changes and challenges for the renewable industry and who will now take over the vice-presidency.

The meeting, attended by representatives of its 88 associated companies, served to take stock of 2024 and define the strategy for the coming year, with a clear primary objective: to strengthen the defence of the value chain of the renewable energy sector in Navarra. During the assembly, a summary video was presented of the most notable activities of the year, which was marked by the incorporation of 16 new associates, which represents a 20% growth and a significant increase in the representation of the cluster.

A united sector facing the challenges of the future

The new president of the cluster, Aitor Erquicia, has presented the three axes that will mark the work of Enercluster in the coming years: “the defense of the supply chain, the promotion of networking and collaboration between partners, and finally the focus on new business opportunities that are emerging in the renewable sector.”

Ana Goyen, the outgoing President of the entity, highlighted in her speech that the cluster’s activity in the last two years has focused on “bringing the defence of the sector to the institutions, seeking fair competition and at the same time promoting the search for excellence in each company to maintain and improve the competitive position of the renewable sector in Navarra.”

In addition to the renewal of positions, the assembly approved the accounts for 2024 and the budget for 2025, and presented the key lines of the CITE Congress, a strategic event for the sector that ENERCLUSTER actively promotes.

The event concluded with a networking aperitif where attendees were able to exchange views on the current situation and the future of the sector.
