On 16 May, Enercluster officially joined the Spanish Association of Batteries and Energy Storage (AEPIBAL), an organisation that defends the interests of the electrochemical storage industry in Spain.

It is currently made up of more than 60 members covering almost the entire energy storage value chain. The main objective of AEPIBAL is to improve the competitiveness of the existing storage industry and to establish the basis for the creation of a new industry that favours all the agents in the sector.

Enercluster’s entry into this entity means for Enercluster to have a presence in a strategic forum, due to the weight that storage will have in the short term in the electricity grid as well as the possibility of participating in working groups. It also represents a further step in the diversification strategy of our cluster covering all renewable technologies.
