Today the Chamber of Commerce hosted the presentation of Enercluster, the wind cluster of Navarre, which was chaired by Manuel Ayerdi, Vice President of Economic Development of the Government of Navarre.
At the ceremony, Enrique Teruel, the President of Enercluster, defined the “wind cluster “as an entity that wants to consolidate itself as a community that promotes the growth of the wind sector in Navarre.
Enercluster is born within the wind sector of Navarre, in which the wind is a motor for Spain, with the aim of committing all the actors with the capacity to strengthen the wind energy sector of Navarre and to become an active agent within the Intelligent Specialisation Strategy of Navarre S3, promoted by the Department of Economic Development of the Government of Navarre.
The new wind cluster arises with objectives such as reducing energy production costs (LCOE), increasing the size of companies, increasing added value and improving all those factors of territory that influence the loyalty and competitiveness of the organizations that make up the wind sector in the region.
At the same time, it participates in the diversification of activities in the sector of industries linked to wind energy, collaboration in research, development and innovation projects, the search for international markets for its new products and, in short, the improvement of the competitiveness of associated companies and institutions.
Its executive board is made up of Enrique Teruel (NORDEX-ACCIONA-WP) as president, Jon Lezamiz (SIEMENS GAMESA) as vice-president and Manuel Rodríguez as managing director.
